featured-first-day

I LOVE the beach and the sand. Something about walking on the sand around the beach brings a feeling of relaxation within me……

In celebration of our first wedding anniversary, we headed to the Island of Hawaii for 13 days. I was so excited as we hopped on the plane and couldn’t help smiling :) .The plane ride was long..total of 8-9 hours but I wasn’t tired at all haha (you can tell I am excited, right!)….Our first stop was O’ahu; the island known to meet the luxuries of today. From the moment I peeked out of the plane window, I knew I was going to fall in love with this place. The island looked picture perfect. The water was so BLUE… so CLEAR.. I could tell the Island had so much of beauty to offer. Together with the hubby, I couldn’t wait to explore more of the Island. :)

I LOVE the beach and the sand. Something about walking on the sand around the beach brings a feeling of relaxation within me. We headed right towards Waikiki Beach as soon as we checked into our hotel. Later that evening, we walked around the area to explore the nightly magic of the place. My first couple hours in Honolulu… and I was already loving this place so much.

IMG_9664It was amazing to see the variety of food they offered on the Island. They had so many choices of food from everywhere. We stopped by at a local Restaurant that offered some Japanese food. We had to try “Ahi Poke”; It’s a famous Hawaiian delight, raw tuna garnished with some spices and veggies (Left dish shown in the picture above) and the Hawaiian Mai Tai was just as amazing. Being foodies, we were already looking forward to more food and fun throughout our trip :)

We had an wonderful time walking around the beach and trying some great delicacies. Waikiki beach was very crowded yet so beautiful… We walked by the downtown area that was full of major shops. I did stop by at few of them as I couldn’t resist haha… Overall, a very well spent day. We can’t wait to see what more this island has to offer! Until next time…Peace :)

Love,
