White & Denim

title-white-and-denim-chicago

Happy hump day everyone!! This year is flying by so quickly. This post is continuation of my previous Chicago post (Seen here). Chicago’s weather is always so unpredictable. A day earlier it was bright and sunny and the next day it was rainy and cold. One exciting thing I love about Chicago is the arbitrary graffiti on casual areas. I was really fascinated by this graffiti that was close to where we were staying and therefore we wanted to explore! Read more

Whirling around the Windy City

chicago-part1-title

Summer is here yay!! I am pretty sure you can relate to this joy with me; the wholehearted weather, aroma of fresh flowers and more time outside. I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

For the memorial weekend, we decided to take a road tour to one of our favored city, Chicago. Even though I have been there like hundred times (not exactly lol but I think this is my 7th time there), I still dear that city so much! Snorkelling fun at Kona

Day7-Kona-Title

This day was one of the favorite day of our trip to Hawaii. After a relaxing morning breakfast at the resort, we headed to the City of Refuge towards Puuhonua O Hanaunau National Historic Park. The park had some historic site and overlooked the Honaunau Bay. We saw some very interesting Polynesian culture and various Ki’i (carved wooden images) along with housing of the ancestors who had dwelled their in the past. The locals considered this place sacred and till today, they still believed that the spirit of peace surrounds this park. While we visited this park, we found out that Honaunau Beach which was right across of the park was one of the famous beach for snorkelling. Hubby was super excited. The bay was beautiful and we were all set for our snorkelling expedition.

Aloha from Big Island

BigIsland-day5-title

First morning in Big Island and we woke up to a beautiful view of palm tree and glorious sunrise. Everything looks so beautiful and divine. Hawaii never stopped to amaze us with its beauty. We started our day’s adventure with a short hike to Rainbow Falls followed by Liliuokalani Gardens and then headed to Kona. We saw various beautiful falls and interesting faunas on our way. Big Island was full of greenary but at the same time had a different look with volcanic rocks and remains. The weather was very moist and different from O’ahu. Food was just as delicious and coconut water was still the best :) We were enjoying every bit of our time in the island :)
