Sightseeing at Volcano National Park

Hilo-Day8-title

The 50 mins helicopter tour of the Big Island was an experience to remember. The aerial view of the island was terrific and extraordinary: It was scary but it was an experience that I would always look back at. Day8-Hilo-7323

I have acrophobia and I don’t do great with height and roller coasters. I felt a little sick while I was up in the air but that feeling only lasted for couple mins. I am glad that I was able to enjoy such an amazing view and see the hot lava coming out of the volcano. I strongly suggest the visitors of Hawaii to take the helicopter tours; they are definitely worth the money. The weather in Hilo was always so deceiving. It would be sunny and warm and in no time it would pour rain. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was another must see attraction. The night view of the volcano looks  musing. Kilauea and Mauna Loa are the two of the world’s most active volcanoes which we were able to view through the helicopter. The volcano was producing fiery fountains of smoke and molten lava were flowing out of them. Indeed, it was a sight that was out of the world.

We were so glad that we made it safe back to the land 😉 We had to celebrate it with some drinks to close out the amazing experience we had at the Volcano National Park. Our vacation was slowly coming to an end.

More posts from Maui will be up very soon!
