Goodbye Blues: Mahalo Hawaii for beautiful memories
From the moment we landed off the plane, I knew that Hawaii was going to be very special. The tangible sense of culture and the infamous spirit of aloha along with the magical beaches and lush mountains and many more…. there was always so much to explore. Our 14 days of vacation ended so quickly but we were so glad that we got a chance to experience the spirit of Hawaii and create some lifetime memories that we will cherish forever.
It was our last day in Maui and we wanted to drive around the beautiful island while enjoying the wonderful scenery and trying to soak in as much as allure and sun as we could. We meandered through some local stops to enjoy some last minute fresh fruits and coconut water. So refreshing….. I insisted on walking on the sand by the beach and wanted to enjoy the feeling of the ocean waves on my feet. It never felt better. I already knew that I was going to immensely miss this place…. We strolled through the beautiful town of Lahaina and grabbed some souvenirs and keepsakes for friends and ourselves. We were both feeling blue and were not looking forward to the crazy and insane winter of Minnesota.
Hawaii has always been on my wonderlist and my ultimate dream and I am so happy that we were able to make this trip happen. So much of planning and hard work went into making this trip possible. And it was all worth it!! Every single minute spent in the three beautiful islands of Hawaii: O’ahu, Big Island and Maui were very exceptional. Each of these island were full with magical adventures… unforgettable sunsets, extraordinary sunrises, snorkeling and overcoming my fear of water, mouthwatering food and so rich in culture… and so on…
Today, as I look back it makes me so happy that I was able to enjoy these precious moments with my husband who is also my best friend. Our trip was full of fun and numerous things about this vacation was very therapeutic to both of us. We are pretty sure we didn’t get to do a lot of things during our visit but we are looking forward to do much more on our next visit. We can’t wait to go back again.
Mahalo to all everyone for visiting my blog. This is the final dispatch of our trip to the islands of Hawaii.
Will be back soon with regular updates
Until next time.. <3 Mash
