Hi, I hope everyone is having a pleasant Saturday. After a busy week, I was super excited to have a relaxing Saturday to myself and hubby dear. Saturdays are my favorite day of the week (I am pretty sure it’s same for everyone haha).  We spent most of the day running errands and hopping around the town. Gotta love these kinds of Saturdays! Lao Valley Needle & Cruising

Our last full day in Maui…. We  started our day at the Lao Valley Needle, famous for gracing postcards all over Maui and a sacred for the Hawaiians. The dense forest had a history behind them: the needle like peaks were a lookout point for the warriors during wars. Interesting!! Currently, it a popular tourist destination and travelers come to enjoy the trail along with the amazing view of the needle like peaks. The weather was moist and cloudy which totally enhanced the beauty of these beautiful peaks. We walked by the Lau Valley Stream reminiscing our beautiful vacation to the islands of Hawaii. Our vacation was ending the next day and to be honest, we were not looking back to go back to Minnesota.

Aloha from Big Island

First morning in Big Island and we woke up to a beautiful view of palm tree and glorious sunrise. Everything looks so beautiful and divine. Hawaii never stopped to amaze us with its beauty. We started our day’s adventure with a short hike to Rainbow Falls followed by Liliuokalani Gardens and then headed to Kona. We saw various beautiful falls and interesting faunas on our way. Big Island was full of greenary but at the same time had a different look with volcanic rocks and remains. The weather was very moist and different from O’ahu. Food was just as delicious and coconut water was still the best :) We were enjoying every bit of our time in the island :)
