After all those superb hiking and camping experiences, we finally get to the city of lights, Vegas! Vegas is always so much fun! We have always enjoyed Vegas, we have come many times to let loose and have fun.
This day was one of the favorite day of our trip to Hawaii. After a relaxing morning breakfast at the resort, we headed to the City of Refuge towards Puuhonua O Hanaunau National Historic Park. The park had some historic site and overlooked the Honaunau Bay. We saw some very interesting Polynesian culture and various Ki’i (carved wooden images) along with housing of the ancestors who had dwelled their in the past. The locals considered this place sacred and till today, they still believed that the spirit of peace surrounds this park. While we visited this park, we found out that Honaunau Beach which was right across of the park was one of the famous beach for snorkelling. Hubby was super excited. The bay was beautiful and we were all set for our snorkelling expedition.
