Olive Obsession
A good & warm Tuesday to all my fashion lovers out there! I hope that you all are doing great and enjoying the remainder of the warm enough days before the winter gets here!
For MN record, days are actually very nice enough but it is getting chillier with every passing day. As the leaves are changing colors and slowly fading away, I am terrified that cold weather and snow is on its way soon but the noise of dry leaves everywhere calms me and takes me to a diverse mood. Is it weird to love the sound of the dry leaves?

I was recently contacted by eShakti to try out their clothing line and was sent this Belted Military Style Cape which I picked out from their wonderful online clothing gallery. For anyone new to eShakti, they are an online clothing store with fabulous styles that can be customized to fit every shape and size (0 to 36W). The best thing about them is that after you choose a design with them, you can customize it based on your measurement (You give them your height, style preferences for no extra charges) so basically it is your online personal boutique. The team is based in NYC, London and India so you can surely tell that they recognize the latest style.
Anyways, this fall I have been inclining towards olive green (Dried Herb) and it won’t be erroneous to say that “olive” is legitimately my Color of the Fall this year. I have been seeing this color a lot in the fashion trend lately and even Pantone has regarded it as an evolving color landscape of Fall 2015 so it is undeniably the hot color for the season. Not too long ago, I wore a dress that was the same color and I saw many of you really liked that post (here).
As we all know capes and ponchos are very popular trend this time of the year and this military style cape brings a similar yet a little different taste to it. It is not bulky and accolades your curvatures quite well. Personally, I always tend to incline towards pieces that accentuate my body figure (Don’t get me wrong I love my oversized sweaters and ponchos just as much). But this Cape is definitely a unique piece in my wardrobe. It is light yet gives you the needed warmth for the cooler days and the quality is pretty descent. I paired it with some leather leggings and my current favorite booties! Since the cape has some military style gold buttons in it, I opted for gold jewelry and went for a darker makeup look. I love this vampy lip combination. What do you guys think?
eShakti was kind enough to provide a coupon code “SARMASH” (Valid until 10/25) exclusively for my viewers to get 10% OFF so definitely give it a try if you are looking for unique and customized outfit for daily or any special occasion, you won’t be disappointed.
Also, Jewelry is from Rocksbox (use coupon code “stylebymashxoxo” to get a FREE month of jewelry subscription for you or share it with a friend).
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did styling the outfit! Feel free to leave me feedback or comment!
Until next time,
Enjoy the cool weather… Mash <3
